Siddharth's upcoming film with director Sri Ganesh has officially gone on floors with a pooja ceremony. Tentatively titled Siddharth 40, the upcoming film is expected to be an emotional drama.

Director Sri Ganesh has earned critical acclaim for his debut film 8 Thottakkal (2017) and second film Kuruthi Aattam (2022).

The ensemble cast of Siddharth 40 also stars Sarath Kumar, Devayani and Meetha Raghunath. Kannada actor Chaithra Achar will be making her Tamil debut through this film.

The untitled film is backed by Shanthi Talkies and produced by Arun Viswa. The production banner last backed the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Maaveeran, directed by Madonne Ashwin.
