Parthiban's Teenz clears censorship formalities

The makers of actor-director Parthiban's Teenz announced that the upcoming film has cleared censorship formalities with a clean U certificate. Besides Parthiban, Teenz stars teenage actors such as Prashitha Nazir, LA Rishe Rathnavel, Frankinstein, Deepesshwaran GS, Asmitha Mahadevan, KS Deepan, Udaipriyan K, Vishrutha Shiv, D John Bosco, Sylvensten, D Amruutha, Kritika Balasubramanian, and Roshan among others.

The makers earlier unveiled the trailer that shows a group of young students bunking a day at school to visit a friend's village after taking up the challenge of exploring a haunted well. Soon, they realise that they are in the middle of many ominous events.

Teenz marks Parthiban's 16th film as a director. He also produced the film along with Caldwell Velnambi, Dr Bala Swaminathan, Dr Pinchi Srinivaasan, and Ranjith Dhandapani.

The film has music by composer D Imman, cinematography by Gavemic Ary, and editing by R Sudarshan. Parthiban also wrote the lyrics for the songs in the film.

Teenz is all set to hit theatres on June 12, along with Kamal Haasan's Indian 2.
