The makers of Prabhu Deva's Petta Rap, directed by SJ Sinu, have released a new song from the film. Titled 'Athirattum Dum Dum Dum', the song has been sung by D Imman and Deepthi Suresh with lyrics by Viveka.

Written by Dinil PK, Petta Rap marks the Tamil debut of SJ Sinu, who is known for directing Malayalam films like Theru (2023) and Djibouti (2021).

A week earlier, the makers had released a teaser of the film which promised a fun-filled entertainer with plenty of music, dance and action sequences.

Petta Rap stars Vedhika as the female lead. Bagavathi Perumal, Vivek Prasanna, Ramesh Thilak, Mime Gopi and Riyaz Khan are also part of the cast.

Bankrolled by Jobi P Sam, Petta Rap's technical crew also consists of cinematographer Jithu Damodhar and editor Nishad Yusuf. Petta Rap wrapped filming in February and a release date is yet to be announced.
