Director Bala's Vanangaan, which stars Arun Vijay in the lead role, has been in the making for a long time now. While the film's shoot was wrapped up in April, the makers are yet to announce a release date.

Meanwhile, Arun Vijay took to his social media handles on Saturday to announce that the film's trailer would be out on July 8 at 6 pm.

Vanangaan also stars Roshini Prakash as the female lead with Samuthirakani and Myskkin playing pivotal roles. The other actors in the cast are Ridha, Chhaya Devi, Bala Sivaji, Shanmugarajan, Yohan Chacko, Kavitha Gopi, Brindha Sarathy, Mai Pa Narayanan, Aruldas and Munish Sivagurunath.

GV Prakash is the music composer for the film, which will feature cinematography by RB Gurudev and editing by Sathish Surya. Vairamuthu has penned verses for the songs in Vanangaan, while Silva has choreographed action sequences.

The film is produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions in association with Bala's B Studios.
