Earlier, we reported that filmmaker Raghav Mirdath, who debuted with the 2022 film Kaalangalil Aval Vasantham, is all set to make his sophomore titled Bun Butter Jam. On Monday, the makers of the film announced that Raju Jeyamohan will headline the upcoming film.

Along with Raju, the film's lead cast also comprises Adhya Prasad and Bhavya Trikha. According to the makers, Bun Butter Jam is a story about Gen Z youth who learn to stay calm and face the present with a smile instead of swinging between the burdens of past pain and fears about the future.

Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini, Charlie, Michael Thangadurai, and VJ Pappu among others form the supporting cast of Bun Butter Jam. Besides directing, Raghav also serves as the film's writer. Produced by Suresh Subramanian, the technical crew of Bun Butter Jam comprises music composer Nivas K Prasanna, cinematographer Babu Kumar IE and editor John Abraham.

The makers will be releasing the film's first look on July 8.
