On Friday, the makers of Vaibhav's 25th film, Ranam, announced that the film is scheduled to be released in the upcoming month of February. The film is written and directed by Sherief.  

Ranam also stars Nandita Swetha, Tanya Hope, Saraswathi Menon and Suresh Chakravarthy in prominent roles. 

In a previous conversation with CE, Sherief shared, "Ranam is an investigation thriller that revolves around a murder mystery. Vaibhav will be seen as a facial reconstruction artist in the film. One of the cases he takes up changes his life."

Madhu Nagarajan is backing Ranam under the Mithun Mithra Productions banner. Arrol Corelli is the music composer for the film, which will also feature cinematography by Balaji K Raja and editing by Muneiz.
