The makers of Arun Vijay's Mission Chapter 1 released the 'Kannae Chella Kannae' lyrical video from the film, on Wednesday. GV Prakash has composed the song which has been crooned by Ravi G and Uthara Unnikrishnan. The film's director, Vijay has penned the verses for this father-daughter melody.
Mission Chapter 1 also stars Amy Jackson and Nimisha Sajayan in lead roles. The film is backed by Subaskaran of Lyca Productions.
The film was earlier titled Achcham Enbadhu Illayae and was later changed to Mission Chapter 1 after Lyca Productions came on board as producers. The film's script is penned by A Mahadev.
Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopanna, Baby Iyal, Viraaj S, and Jason Shah form the supporting cast of Mission Chapter 1. The film was meant to be Nimisha's debut in Tamil, but due to production delays, it will be her third Tamil release after Jigarthanda Double X and Chithha. Amy Jackson will be making her comeback to Tamil cinema after 6 years, as she last featured in Rajinikanth's 2.0.
Apart from music director GV Prakash, the film's technical crew also includes cinematographer Sandeep K Vijay and editor Anthony. The film has been extensively shot in London and Chennai.
Mission Chapter 1 is all set to hit theatres for Pongal this year, on January 12.
