A week ahead of the release of Arun Vijay's Mission Chapter 1, Lyca Productions, the banner bankrolling the film, announced that the film's trailer will be out tomorrow, January 5. 

It is to be noted that Sivakarthikeyan's much-awaited film Ayalaan, which is also releasing on January 12, is also having its trailer launch tomorrow.

Mission Chapter 1 also stars Amy Jackson and Nimisha Sajayan in lead roles. Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopanna, Baby Iyal, Viraaj S, and Jason Shah form the supporting cast.

The film was earlier titled Achcham Enbadhu Illayae and was later changed to Mission Chapter 1 after Lyca Productions came on board as producers. The film's script is penned by A Mahadev. 

Apart from music director GV Prakash, the film's technical crew also includes cinematographer Sandeep K Vijay and editor Anthony.  The film has been extensively shot in London and Chennai. 

Mission Chapter 1 is all set to hit theatres for Pongal this year, on January 12, alongside Dhanush's Captain Miller and Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan.
