We had previously reported that actor-comedian Sathish will be headlining a film titled Vithaikkaaran. The actor revealed that the film will hit the theatres in February.

From the film's teaser, which was released a while ago, Vithaikkaaran seems to revolve around smuggling and how Sathish is given the charge to retrieve certain withheld goods.

The film is helmed by Venki, a debutant. Simran Gupta, Anandraj, Madhusudhan, Subramaniam Siva, John Vijay, Pavel Navageethan, and Japan Kumar, among others are also part of the cast. The film is bankrolled by Vijay Pandi of White Carpet Films. The shooting has been wrapped up. With music by VBR, Vithaikkaaran has cinematography by Yuva Karthick and editing by Arul E Siddharth.

Meanwhile, Sathish was last seen in horror comedy Conjuring Kannappan.
