The makers of Samuthirakani's Thiru Manickam released a new poster on the occasion of the New Year, on Monday. The poster features the actor as Manickam along with his family consisting of his wife and two daughters.
Anandham Vilayadum Veedu-fame Nandha Periyasamy is the director of Thiru Manickam. Bharathiraja, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Chaams, Vadivukarasi, and Ilavarasu, among others, round out the supporting cast of the film.
The film's shoot which took place in the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, was wrapped a couple of months ago. GP Ravi Kumar, Chinta Gopala Krishna Reddy and Raja Senthil are backing Thiru Manickam.
M Sukumar is the cinematographer for Thiru Manickam, which will feature editing by SP Raja Sethupathi and musical score by Vishal Chandrasekar. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
