Suriya begins dubbing for Kanguva

Suriya has begun dubbing works for his next, Kanguva. The announcement came from the film's production house, Studio Green, on Wednesday. The film recently stepped into post-production after wrapping up filming in January. 

Kanguva is helmed by Siva and also stars Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, and Kovai Sarala. Bobby Deol is also a part of the film, and the makers recently announced that he will be seen as Udhiran, in the film. 

In an earlier conversation with CE, Siva said, "The film is set 1500 years ago and uses elements from ancient Tamil culture as well as other cultures from all over India. Kanguva is a fictional story set in an imaginary world with strong historical references and facts." 

Siva's frequent collaborator, Vetri Palanisamy is the DOP for Kanguva, which will also feature production design by Milan and editing by Nishad Yusuf. Devi Sri Prasad is the film's music composer. While Narayana has co-written the script the script of Kanguva, dialogues are penned by Madhan Karky. 

Kanguva is aimed at an early 2024 release in 10 languages and 3D. The film marks the actor’s 42nd outing. Kanguva is co-produced by UV Creations and Studio Green.
