On the occasion of Valentine's Day, the makers of Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, featuring Nivin Pauly, Anjali, and Soori in lead roles, have released the first single from the film. Titled 'Marubadi Nee', the song is sung by actor Siddharth, with lyrics by Madhan Karky.

Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai is directed by renowned filmmaker Ram, who has previously directed critically acclaimed films such as Kattradhu Thamizh, Thanga Meengal, Taramani, and Peranbu.

The film recently had its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the audience praised the film for its captivating narrative, which showcases love, empathy, and survival across centuries.

Earlier the makers released a glimpse from the film. The glimpse begins with Nivin's voiceover which starts off by saying how there can be many reasons to leave somebody but for someone to go with the other, there shall be only one reason, love. The glimpse shows Nivin narrating a story dating back 4000 years back, while simultaneously moving towards Anjali standing in a train. We are also introduced to Soori who is 32 years old, while Nivin says he is 8822 years old. The video hints at the possibility of reincarnation.

It is produced by Suresh Kamatchi under his banner V House Productions while director Ram’s frequent collaborator Yuvan Shankar is composing the music for the film. NK Ekhambaram handles the film’s cinematography while Mathi VS takes care of the editing. Stunt Silva is roped in to handle the action while production design is handled by Umesh J Kumar.
