Earlier, we had reported that Malayalam actor Shane Nigam would be making his Tamil feature debut with the upcoming film titled Madraskaaran. It has now been learned that music composer Sam CS has been roped into compose music for the film. The makers announced the same on their social media handles. 

Madraskaaran is directed by Vaali Mohan Das, who debuted with last year's coming-of-age drama Rangoli. The film stars Niharika Konidela as the female lead.  

In a previous conversation with Cinema Express, director Vaali said that the film revolves around the consequences of a minor ego conflict between two individuals. "How a negligible incident completely changes a person's life is the core of our film," he said.

Billed as an action thriller, Madraskaaran is said to be on the lines of popular Malayalam films, including Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Ishq and Driving Licence. Apart from Shane, Kalaiyarasan plays the other male lead.
