Vaibhav's 25th film, Ranam, is all set to hit theatres on February 23, the makers announced on Friday. The upcoming film is written and directed by debut filmmaker Sherief. 

Ranam also stars Nandita Swetha, Tanya Hope, Saraswathi Menon and Suresh Chakravarthy in prominent roles.

In a previous conversation with CE, Sherief shared, "Ranam is an investigation thriller that revolves around a murder mystery. Vaibhav will be seen as a facial reconstruction artist in the film. One of the cases he takes up changes his life."

Madhu Nagarajan is backing Ranam under the Mithun Mithra Productions banner. Arrol Corelli is the music composer for the film, which will also feature cinematography by Balaji K Raja and editing by Muneiz.
