Lal Salaam is scheduled to hit theatres on February 9

CE Features

A few days ahead of the release of Lal Salaam, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the makers had revealed that the film has cleared censorship formalities and has been given a U/A certificate.

Recently, the makers released the trailer of the film. Vikranth and Vishnu Vishal, who belong to different religions, are both cricket players. While Rajinikanth's Moideen Bhai, wishes to promote his son Vikranth's talent in cricket, Vishnu Vishal's Thirunavukkarasu seems to be having his own anger issues. Meanwhile, their city is infested with religious instability wreaking havoc between communities.

Lal Salaam marks Rajinikanth's first collaboration with Aishwarya, and the latter's first collaboration with AR Rahman, who is the film's music composer. The film also stars Senthil, Jeevitha, Thambi Ramaiah, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Vivek Prasanna, Thangadurai, and KS Ravikumar among others.

With cinematography by Vishnu Rangasamy, the film has editing by Pravin Baaskar. Lal Salaam is scheduled to hit theatres on February 9.
