The second single, titled Achu Penne, from Vaibhav- starrer Ranam, will be released by actor-politician Khushbu Sundar tomorrow. Composed by Arrol Corelli, with lyrics penned by Vivek, Shreya Ghoshal has lent her voice to the song. 

Ranam is written and directed by Sherief. The makers have earlier confirmed that the film will hit the theatres in February. However, an exact date has yet to be announced. 

In a previous conversation with CE, Sherief shared, "Ranam is an investigation thriller that revolves around a murder mystery. Vaibhav will be seen as a facial reconstruction artist in the film. One of the cases he takes up changes his life."

Ranam also stars Nandita Swetha, Tanya Hope, Saraswathi Menon and Suresh Chakravarthy in prominent roles. 

Madhu Nagarajan is backing Ranam under the Mithun Mithra Productions banner. Arrol Corelli is the music composer for the film, which will also feature cinematography by Balaji K Raja and editing by Muneiz.
