The makers of Sathish's Vithaikkaran announced on Saturday, that the film, which was initially scheduled to hit theatres on February 16, will now release on February 23. The film is written and directed by Venki. 

Apart from Sathish, Vithaikkaran also stars Simran Gupta, Anandraj, Madhusudhan, Subramaniam Siva, John Vijay, Pavel Navageethan, and Japan Kumar, among others. 

The plot details regarding Vithaikkaran are still kept under wraps by the makers. However, in a previous conversation with CE, actor Sathish revealed that the film is a black comedy. 

The film is backed by Vijay Pandi under the White Carpet Films banner. While VBR has composed the music, cinematography and editing have been handled by Yuva Karthick and Arul E Siddharth, respectively.
