Debut director Jayalakshmi helms a triangular love story

The makers announced that the film is in the last leg of post-production and updates like the first look and teaser will be revealed in the coming days

Passionate about filmmaking, the 63-year-old Jayalakshmi is making her debut with a triangular love story set against the backdrop of a fishermen hamlet.

The untitled film stars Lingesh, Ganja Karuppu, and London-based actor Liya in the lead roles. Speaking about the film's plot, the director says that a researcher hailing from London wants to document Tamil culture and falls in love with a young fisherman played by Lingesh. However, matters get complicated when she learns that the fisherman is already engaged to his uncle's daughter. She said the film's screenplay has been designed to resolve the complications.

The film also stars Divya as the female lead and debutant Katpadi Rajan as the antagonist. Actors Madhusudhanan, Maaran, Sitha Dharshan and Senthamizh are part of the film's supporting cast.

Lingesh has acted in supporting roles in Kabali and Pariyerum Perumal and played the lead in College Road. The film, produced by Jayalakshmi's Sky Wanders Entertainment, has a technical crew of cinematographer Dony Raj, music composer Sandy Santello and editor Gopikrishna.
