It is well known that actor Ajith Kumar is gearing up for the release of two big upcoming films, the long-awaited Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni and Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly. With both the films being marketed as a Pongal 2025 release, the Mark Antony director clarified that his film will not hit theatres on the festive occasion.

Speaking to reporters outside the Chennai airport, the filmmaker said, "Vidaamuyarchi is arriving on Pongal. Fans would enjoy the film. After that, we'll come back with Good Bad Ugly."

The Good Bad Ugly cast includes Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, BS Avinash of KGF fame, Prabhu, Prasanna, Rahul Dev, Yogi Babu, and Sunil.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad, who has worked on an Ajith film after Veeram. The film's technical team also includes cinematographer Abinadhan Ramanujam and editor Vijay Velukutty.

Vidaamuyarchi also has Trisha in a lead role, alongside Arjun Sarja and Regina Cassandra. Aarav, Nikhil Nair, Dasarathi, and Ganesh, among others form the rest of the supporting cast. The film has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Om Prakash ISC and editing by NB Srikanth.
