The makers of Bun Butter Jam, starring actor Raju Jeyamohan, who is making his debut as the lead, revealed the film's teaser on Saturday.

The teaser is suggestive of a romcom where Raju plays a youngster in love with two girls who are polar opposites. The glimpse doesn't give away much about the film, directed by Raghav Mirdath. Raghav made his directorial debut with Kaalangalil Aval Vasantham (2022).

Raju had played minor characters in Thunai Mudhalvar (2015), Manithan (2016), Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma (2019), Murungakkai Chips (2021) and Don (2022). Apart from films, Raju starred in several TV dramas, such as Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, Saravanan Meenatchi, Andal Azhagar and Bharathi Kannamma.

The film stars Adhya Prasad and Bhavya Trikha as the female leads, while Saranya Ponvannan, Charlie, Michael Thangadurai and VJ Pappu play supporting roles. The makers earlier said Bun Butter Jam is a story about Gen Z youth who learn to stay calm and face the present with a smile instead of swinging between the burdens of past pain and fears about the future.

Besides directing, Raghav also serves as the film's writer. Produced by Suresh Subramanian, the technical crew of Bun Butter Jam comprises music composer Nivas K Prasanna, cinematographer Babu Kumar IE and editor John Abraham.

A release date for the film has not been revealed yet.
