Vijay-Venkat Prabhu's GOAT to run over 3 hours: Reports

As Vijay is gearing up for his next film The Greatest Of All Time's (GOAT) release, reports about the film's runtime has been flooding social media.

According to some reports, the film is set to have a runtime of 183 minutes, which will be 3 hours and 3 minutes. An image, purportedly, of the film's certificate is being circulated in the internet. As per the certificate, the film is said to run for 179 minutes, with the remaining four minutes expected to feature some behind-the-scenes footage.

Apart from Vijay, GOAT also stars Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhudeva, Mohan, and Jayaram in prominent roles. Joining them are Venkat Prabhu's frequent collaborators Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajai Raj, and Aravind Akash. Late actor and politician Vijayakanth will appear in the film with the help of AI technology.

GOAT has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, editing by Venkat Raajen, art direction by Rajeevan, and action choreography by Dileep Subbarayan. Archana Kalpathi has produced the film under the AGS Entertainment banner. The film is slated for a September 5 release.

The film is slated to release on September 5 in the IMAX format in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, with Zee Studios distributing it across North Indian states in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
