Makers of Dhanush's third directorial venture, Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), have made an announcement regarding the film's first single.

The first single of the film, touted to be a romantic drama, has been titled 'Golden Sparrow'. The announcement poster featured Pavish, who will be seen along with Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan in the film.

GV Prakash Kumar, who composed Dhanush's Aadukalam, Asuran, Polladhavan, Vaathi, and Captain Miller, would be scoring for NEEK, while Leon Britto has been roped in as the cinematographer and GK Prasanna will handle the cuts.

Dhanush was last seen in Raayan, his 50th film as an actor and second as a director. The film opened to a mixed to positive response upon its theatrical release on July 26.
