Vijay's GOAT clears censorship formalities

The film is slated for a September 5 release

The makers of Vijay's upcoming sci-fi action The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) officially announced on Wednesday that the film has completed the censorship procedures.

The film is certified U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification, or CBFC. The trailer for the film was recently released and has been garnering a record number of views and likes.

GOAT, with Meenakshi Chaudhary in a lead role, also stars Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Laila, Prabhudeva, Mohan, and Jayaram in prominent roles. Joining them are Venkat Prabhu's frequent collaborators Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajai Raj, and Aravind Akash. The late actor and politician Vijayakanth will appear in the film with the help of AI technology.

GOAT has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, editing by Venkat Raajen, art direction by Rajeevan, and action choreography by Dileep Subbarayan. Archana Kalpathi has produced the film under the AGS Entertainment banner. The film is slated for a September 5 release.
