Days after the release of Keerthy Suresh's Raghu Thatha, the makers have released the full audio album of the film. Five songs, namely 'Aruge Vaa', 'Ek Gaon Mein', 'Poruthhiru Selva', 'Ezhundhu Nindru Poridu' and 'Thengai Vilundha Kadha'.

With a storyline revolving around the anti-Hindi agitation in Tamil Nadu during the '60s, Raghu Thatha is billed as a comedy-drama. The film is directed by debut filmmaker Suman Kumar who was one of the writers of the hit Prime Video series The Family Man.

MS Bhaskar, Devadarshini, Ravindra Vijay, Anandsamy, and Rajesh Balakrishnan round out the supporting cast of Raghu Thatha.

The technical team of Raghu Thatha includes cinematographer Yamini Yagnamurthy, music composer Sean Roldan, and editor TS Suresh.

The film released on August 15 in theatres, coinciding with the festive occasion of Independence Day. The film clashed with Arulnithi's Demonte Colony 2 and Vikram's Thangalaan at the box office.
