The trailer for Mari Selvaraj's upcoming directorial, Vaazhai, is all set to be released by the makers on Monday. The director made the announcement on Sunday. 

The film stars Kalaiyarasan, Nikhila Vimal, Dhivya Duraisamy, and Priyanka Nair, among others. With this film, Mari Selvaraj is making his debut as a producer.

Vaazhai’s technical team includes Theni Eswar as the cinematographer, while Suriya Pradhaman will handle the editing. Santhosh Narayanan, who has worked with Mari in Karnan and Pariyerum Perumal, is the music composer for Vaazhai as well.

Mari, who last made Maamannan, also has Bison Kalamaadan, starring Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameswaran, in the pipeline.

Vaazhai is gearing up for release on August 23. It will be released alongside Soori and Anna Ben's Kottukkaali in theatres.
