Music composer Sam CS has been roped in to work on the background score of Arun Vijay-Bala's Vanangaan.

Announcing the development on social media, Sam CS said he was happy to score BGM for Vanangaan and to collaborate with his "favourite director" Bala and "nanban" GV Prakash.

The film was originally announced in 2022 with Suriya and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles before Arun Vijay and Roshini Prakash replaced them. Vanangaan also stars Samuthirakani and Mysskin in pivotal roles. The cast also includes Ridha, Chhaya Devi, Bala Sivaji, Shanmugarajan, Dr Yohan Chacko, Kavitha Gopi, Brindha Sarathy, Mai Pa Narayanan, Aruldass, and Munish Sivagurunath, among others.

The film has music by GV Prakash, cinematography by RB Gurudev, and editing by Sathish Suriya. Karthik Netha has penned the lyrics for the songs in Vanangaan, while Silva has choreographed the stunts in it.

The film is produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions. Production of the film was completed this April, but the makers are yet to announce its release date.
