Vijay Sethupathi unveils first look of debutant Mani Moorthi's Lara

The makers are yet to reveal details regarding the film's release

Actor Vijay Sethupathi unveiled the first look poster of the upcoming thriller Lara on Friday, headlined by Ashok Kumar of Muruga fame.

Making his directorial debut with this film, Mani Moorthi says the story of Lara is inspired by true events that happened at Karaikal a few years ago.

It is worth noting that Sathyaraj revealed the title look poster, praising the director for a gripping storyline.

Starring with Ashok are female leads Anushree, Venmathi and Varshini, while Mathew Varghese, Karthikesan and SK Babu play pivotal roles.

The technical crew of Lara comprises cinematographer RJ Raveen, music composer Raghu Sravan Kumar, editor Valarpandi, art director Murugan and producer Karthikesan of MK Film Media Works, who has an on-screen role in the film, has also penned the lyrics with Muthamil.

The makers are yet to reveal details regarding the film's release.
