Filmmaker Mohan G, who previously made Bakasuran starring Selvaraghavan in the lead, has launched his next film on Saturday.

The director, on his X handle, posted that on the auspicious day of Aadi Perukku, he is performing the pooja ritual for his new office and also his next feature. In the pooja stills, Mohan was seen sitting next to Richard Rishi, who is expected to play the lead in this untitled project.

It is worth noting that the duo has collaborated on two hit films, Draupathi and Rudra Thandavam.

Details about the film's plotline and the rest of the cast and crew are kept under wraps.

Richard Rishi was last seen in the mystery thriller Sila Nodigalil (2023), which also stars Punnagai Poo Gheetha, who is also the producer, and Yashika Aannand. The film, written and directed by Vinay Bharadwaj, had music by Masala Coffee, Bjorn Surrao, Darshana KT, Staccato, and Rohit Matt, while Abhimanyu Sadanandan and Shaijal PV handled cinematography and edits, respectively.

Sila Nodigalil was released in theatres on November 23, 2023.
