Jayam Ravi's Brother gets a Diwali release

The film will clash with Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran at the box office.

Jayam Ravi's upcoming film Brother finally has a release date. The film, directed by M Rajesh will now be released on the festival occasion of Diwali, clashing with Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran at the box office.

Expected to be a family entertainer Brother has music by Harris Jayaraj in his fourth collaboration with Ravi after Dhaam Dhoom (2008), Engeyum Kadhal (2011) and Vanamagan (2017) and second with Rajesh Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (2012). The film stars Priyanka Mohan as the female lead opposite Jayam Ravi with Bhoomika Chawla, Saranya Ponvannan, VTV Ganesh, Natty, Seetha, Achyuth Kumar, MS Bhaskar, Rao Ramesh, and Suresh Chakravarthy rounding out the cast. Plot details for the film are currently under wraps.

The technical crew of the film comprises cinematographer Vivekanand Santhosham and editor Abisish Joseph. Brother is produced under the banner of Screen Scene Media Entertainment.
