On Thursday, Studio Green, the makers of Vikram's Thangalaan, announced that the film's audio launch will take place on August 5. While the venue and time were not revealed, the makers also announced that the second single from the film would be unveiled on Friday. The first single, 'Minikki Minikki', composed by GV Prakash, was unveiled a few days ago. 

Directed by Pa Ranjith, Thangalaan also stars Malavika Mohanan and Parvathy Thiruvothu in prominent roles. The film's cast also includes Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, and Hari Krishnan. Thangalaan is a historical adventure that narrates the role of oppressed communities in the exploration of gold in the south of India.

On the technical team, the film has cinematography by A Kishor Kumar, and editing by Selva RK. Tamil Prabha is the film's co-writer. Neelam Productions is backing Thangalaan, along with Studio Green. 

Releasing on August 15, Thangalaan will be clashing with Keerthy Suresh's Raghu Thatha and Arulnithi's Demonte Colony 2.
