Makers of director C Prem Kumar's upcoming film Meiyazhagan, starring Karthi and Arvind Swami in the lead, have released the behind the scenes stills from the film on Thursday.

From the combination shots of the lead duo, there were also stills of other actors in the film like Rajkiran, Sri Divya, Devadarshini, Ilavarasu, and Jayaprakash.

The film will be produced by Jyotika and Suriya under their banner, 2D Entertainment. This will be Karthi's third association with the production house, following Kadaikutty Singam (2018) and Viruman (2022).

Sri Divya will play the female lead in the film, which will also have Saran Shakti and Rajkiran in prominent roles. The rest of the cast includes Swathi Konde, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, Sri Ranjani, Ilavarasu, Karunakaran, Saran, Rachel Rebecca, Anthony, Rajkumar, Indumati, Rani Samyukta, Kayal Subramani, and Ashok Pandian.

Meiyazhagan has cinematography by Mahendran Jayaraju, music by Govind Vasantha, and editing by R. Govindraj. It reunites Govind Vasantha and Prem Kumar after their blockbuster soundtrack in 96.
