Sivakarthikeyan contributes Rs 50 Lakh towards the Nadigar Sangam Building

Actor Sivakarthikeyan has contributed a sum of Rs 50 lakh towards the construction of the long-pending Nadigar Sangam building.

The construction which was planned in 2017 after the victory of the Pandavar Ani, led by actor Vishal, in the South Indian Artiste's Association (SIAA) election. The construction ran into several delays due to financial constraints and Covid-19.

It is worth noting that actor-politicians Vijay, Udhayanidhi Stalin, and Kamal Haasan have contributed Rs 1 crore each towards the same cause.

In an official release, SIAA's president and actor M Nasser said Sivakarthikeyan had handed a cheque of Rs 50 lakh to him and treasurer Karthi. Nasser thanked SK for handing the sum from his personal funds.

On the workfront, Sivakarthikeyan is currently shooting for his 23rd film directed by AR Murugadoss and Amaran with Rajkumar Periasamy.
