Shankar's daughter Aishwarya Shankar ties the knot with Tarun Karthikeyan

Director Shankar's daughter Aishwarya Shankar tied the nuptial knot with Tarun Karthikeyan in a grand manner.

Actors Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vikram, Suriya and his brother Karthi, Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan, director Mani Ratnam and Suhasini, and other Tollywood and Kollywood personalities graced the occasion and wished the couple. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also attended the wedding.

Tarun Karthik is an assistant director who has worked with Shankar. He is also a lyricist and a playback singer. Few weeks ago, when the couple got engaged, Shankar's younger daughter and actor Aditi Shankar took to her Instagram handles to share a few photos from the event. She said, "With two of my favourite people in the world, what a beautiful and memorable day."

On the workfront, director Shankar is busy working on his upcoming film Game Changer, starring Ram Charan in the lead role. Kartik Subbaraj has penned the storyline for the film. Actors like Anjali, Jayaram, SJ Suryah, and Sunil, among others, comprise the film’s supporting cast. Meanwhile actor Aditi Shankar was last seen in Maaveeran, directed by Madonne Ashwin. Up next, she will be seen in director Vishnuvardhan's romantic drama where she will be starring alongside Akash Murali.
