Rathnam trailer: The glimpse is replete with Hari must-haves

CE Features

Trailer of Rathnam has been released, giving out a narrative-style atypical of a Hari film.

The film's trailer was released by the makers on Monday.

The story, set in Vellore, bordering Andhra Pradesh, follows goons who are behind the character played by Priya Bhavani Shankar for some undisclosed reason and Rathnam (Vishal) comes in their way to foil the bad guys' plans.

The film directed by Hari, will be produced by Kaarthekeyan Santhanam, Alankar Pandian and Karthik Subbaraj under the banners of Zee Studios, Stone Bench Films and Invenio Origin. Priya Bhavani Shankar has started becoming a regular in Hari's films, after Yaanai, playing the female lead in Rathnam. Samuthirakani, Ramachandra Raju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Yogi Babu, Murali Sharma and Mohan Raman are part of the ensemble cast.

The technical crew has cinematographer M Sukumar, editor TS Jay and music director Devi Sri Prasad on board.

Rathnam is slated to be released on April 26.
