On Sunday, on the occasion of Tamil New Year, the makers of RJ Vijay's Wife unveiled the motion poster of the film. Also starring Anjali Nair in the titular character, the film is helmed by debut filmmaker, Hemanathan R.

The motion poster of Wife features Vijay and Anjali as a happily married couple, who seem to be facing the common differences of opinions of every husband and wife.

In an earlier conversation with CE, Hemanathan revealed that Wife would be a family drama, with a a strong romance angle at the centre of it. While discussing more details about the characters of Vijay and Anjali, Hemanthan said, "Being a video jockey himself, casting RJ Vijay in the role of an aspiring VJ made a lot of sense because he can bring his input to the role. Anjali plays a singer who not only has a strong voice of her own but will also fit in the role of a young wife in today's age."

The upcoming film is backed by politician-filmmaker Ambeth Kumar's Olympia Movies. Wife's technical crew comprises cinematographer KA Shakthivel, composer Jen Martin, and art director Siva Sankar.
