Dheeraj's Double Tuckerr has cleared censorship formalities with a clean U certificate, the makers announced on Monday. Helmed by Meera Mahadhi, the film is gearing up for release on April 5.

Smruthi Venkat, Kovai Sarala, Yashika Anand, MS Bhaskar, Munishkanth, Suniel Reddy, Sha Ra, and Kaali Venkat form the supporting cast of Double Tuckerr.

The film's lead Dheeraj has previously starred in Bodhai Yeri Budhi Maari. The makers recently unveiled the film's trailer which hints at a colourful adventure with plenty of action and comedy. The film features animated characters along with real actors.

Vidyasagar is the music composer for Double Tuckerr which will also feature cinematography by Gautham and editing by Vetri. Air Flick Productions is bankrolling Double Tuckerr.
