Vijay Antony's Raththam clears censorship formalities

Ahead of the release of Vijay Antony's Raththam, the film has completed its censorship formalities and has received a U/A certificate, shared producer G Dhananjeyan.

Directed by CS Amudhan, the film stars Mahima Nambiar, Nanditha Swetha, and Ramya Nambeesan. The filmmaker is collaborating with his regulars like Kannan (music), Gopi Amarnath (cinematography) and TS Suresh (editing) for Raththam.

The trailer showcased the story centred around a murder with different parties attached to the crime. Vijay Antony is at the helm of the case, trying to arrest the murderer.

The film is backed by Kamal Bohra, Lalitha Dhananjayan, B Pradeep and Pankaj Bohra of Infiniti Film Ventures.

Raththam will hit theatres on October 6.  The film will join a slew of releases including Trisha's The Road, Harish Kalyan's Parking, Yuvaraj Dhayalan's Irugapatru, Arun Vaidyanathan's Shot Boot Three and Madhurr Mittal's 800.

Meanwhile, Vijay Antony has a bevy of films such as Agni Siragugal, Mazhai Pidikkaadha Manidhan and Khaki, in various stages of production.
