Father-daughter duo Kamal Haasan and Shruti Haasan will be joining hands together for an independent single. The news was teased by Kamal when announced at a recent event that RKFI and Shruti Haasan are collaborating for a project

The female actor also confirmed the news through Q and A session on Instagram that she is joining hands with her father. 

Shruti had previously released two independent singles namely Edge and She Is A Hero which received great admiration from the audiences. Shruti plans to release her third single soon, an official announcement about the single will be made soon.

Apart from this, Shruti will be seen playing a lead role in the much-awaited Salaar alongside Prabhas. The film is directed by Prashanth Neel and will be releasing soon.
