After the success of Rajinikanth's Jailer, the makers of the film Sun Pictures recently held a success meet, which was attended by the cast and crew. A video of a speech by Rajinikanth, was released by the production banner today.

After giving out plaques to his fellow cast and crew members, Rajinikanth took to the stage to talk about his experience. After revealing how he originally didn't mean to give a speech at the event, Rajinikanth starts off by thanking his producer Kalanithi Maran. "I don't know how to thank Kala sir. I should thank the whole industry. After the success, he held a non-vegetarian feast for the whole crew members." He then light-heartedly recollects how the producer gifted him a BMW X7 car for the success of the film, "Only after driving the car gifted by Kalanithi Maran do I finally feel rich. Thank you Kala sir." After the crowd erupts in laughter and applause, he continues, "When he gifted a bag to all the crew members, I asked Nelson about it and he said the bag has gold coins in it," Rajinikanth then points to Kalanithi Maran and addresses him directly, "You are an example for every producer on how to celeberate a film's success and how to honour the people who worked in the film and make them happy. This is not just an example for the Tamil film industry. This is an example set for Hollywood, Bollywood, and every other industry.
