On Monday, the makers of Jayam Ravi's 30th film announced that it has officially been titled Brother. The upcoming film is helmed by  M Rajesh, who has previously helmed films like Siva Manasula Sakthi and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. 

Brother also stars Priyanka Mohan as the female lead opposite Jayam Ravi. Bhoomika Chawla, Saranya Ponvannan, VTV Ganesh, Natty, Seetha, Achyuth and  Rao Ramesh round out the cast of Brother. 

Harris Jayaraj, who has previously worked with M Rajesh for Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, is composing music for Brother as well. While Vivekanand Santhosh is cranking the camera, Ashish Joseph is taking care of the edit. 

In an official statement about Brother, director M Rajesh said, "Though Jayam Ravi is currently making his mark in action-packed films, family dramas like Jayam, M Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi, Something Something Unakkum Enakkum, and Santhosh Subramaniam are very important in his career. There is no doubt that Brother will join this list."
