The first single from The Road the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Trisha in the lead role, Oh Vidhi, was released by the makers on social media recently. The film is set to hit the theatres on October 6.

Oh Vidhi is composed by Sam CS, with voice lent by Sid Sriram. Karthik Netha has written the lyrics.

Apart from Trisha, others part of the cast include Dancing Rose Shabeer Kallarakkal, Santhosh Prathap, Miya George, MS Bhaskar, Vivek Prasanna, Vela Ramamoorthy. The film, expected to be a thriller, is stated to be based on a real-life incident which happened in the early 2000s.

The Road is written and directed by Arun Vaseegaran, with AAA Cinemaa Private Limited backing The Road. The technical crew consists of Sam CS scoring the music, with KG Venkatesh behind the camera. AR Shivaraj is the editor.

Meanwhile, Trisha who was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan: II. The actor has several projects upcoming, including Vijay-starrer Leo, Tovino Thomas' Identity, and Sathuranga Vettai 2.
