The Idhu Pola single from the upcoming Tamil film Iraivan, starring Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara in the lead roles, was released by the makers on social media on Saturday. Composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Idhu Pola is written by Vivek and sung by Yuvan along with Shakthisree Gopalan.

Directed by I Ahmed, who previously helmed Endrendrum Punnagai and Manithan, Iraivan is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 28. The film is billed to be a crime thriller revolving around a serial killer.

Billed as a commercial crime thriller, the film is backed by Sudhan Sundaram and Jayaram G of Passion Studios. The technical crew consists of cinematography by Hari K Vedanth and editing by Manikanda Balaji.

Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara who have previously worked in Thani Oruvan, will be once again reuniting for the film’s sequel which was announced recently.
