Actor Vijay, who recently returned to Chennai after completing some pre-production work for Thalapathy 68 in Los Angeles, met his father, director SA Chandrasekhar, as he recently underwent surgery. 

As per reports, Vijay reportedly cut short his USA trip, to meet his father who was hospitalised out of the blue. SA Chandrasekhar shared a photo of himself with his son and wife Sobha, and captioned it in Tamil, "Relationship and affection are the elixir of the human mind." With this, the father-son duo have put rumours of their strained relationship to rest. 

Meanwhile, Vijay recently completed filming for the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial Leo, which is gearing up for release on October 19. Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mysskin, Priya Anand, and Mansoor Ali Khan, among others round out the ensemble cast of Leo. He is currently working on the Venkat Prabhu directorial, Thalapathy 68.
