Halitha Shameem releases first look poster for Minmini

Singer Khatija Rahman is making her composing debut with this film while Manoj Paramahamsa is handling the cinematography

On the occasion of Halitha Shameem's birthday, the director-writer released the first look poster of her upcoming film Minmini.

The film, which is said to be Halitha's dream project, was shot across seven years to show the real growth of the actors. It features a bunch of child artists from Halitha's debut film Poovarasam Peepe (2014). Minmini stars actors Esther Anil and Gaurav Kalai in lead roles. 

Minmini is expected to be a coming-of-age film that follows two youngsters who carry survivors’ guilt.

Director Halitha Shameem made her debut with Poovarasam Peepee which was released in 2014. Her subsequent releases Sillu Karupatti (2019), and Aelay (2021) received positive responses and critical acclaim. She last directed the segment Loners in the anthology Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaatha (2022).
