Samantha, who is currently in America following the release of Kushi, praised Ms Shetty Mr Polishetty (MSMP). Taking to her Instagram stories, the actor writes, "Haven't laughed this much in a while. Thank you Naveen Polishetty. What a gem you are! Congratulations to the entire team and the ever charming Anushka." Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty released on September 7, along with Jawan. Despite not opening to great numbers on day 1 owing to more people choosing to watch Jawan, the collections of MSMP have slowly been on the rise on Friday and Saturday due to positive word of mouth. The film stars Naveen Polishetty and Anushka Shetty, who are both returning to theatre after a gap of two and five years respectively. 

A romantic comedy, MSMP revolves around an organized, Type-A personality chef played by Anushka and a happy-go-lucky software engineer and stand-up comic played by Naveen. They meet when Anushka decides to become a mother through IUI and starts looking for a sperm donor. MSMP is written and directed by Mahesh Babu Pachigolla. Vamsi and Pramod of UV Creations have produced the film. While the film's songs have been composed by Radhan, Gopi Sundar composed MSMP's background score. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and production design by Rajeevan Nambiar.
