The first single 'Annai Thanthai' from Lakshmy Ramakrishnan's upcoming directorial, Are You Okay Baby, was released by the makers on Thursday.  The film is all set to hit theatres on September 22. 

Are You Okay Baby has music composed by Ilaiyaraaja, who has also penned the verses for 'Annai Thanthai'. Shwetha Mohan has crooned the melody. 

The film stars Samuthirakani, Abhirami, and Mysskin in lead roles. Mullai Arasi, Murugaa Ashok, Aadukalam-fame Naren, Pavel Navageethan, Robo Shankar, Vinodhini, and Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, round out the cast of Are You Okay Baby. 

In a previous conversation with CE, Lakshmy said, “I just wanted to tell a story and follow my heart. I did not bother about what genre I am making the film under, or my target audience. This film cannot be categorised under any genre, but it has a mixture of crime, legal and family drama. We titled it Are You Okay Baby because it is about a baby. It is also a reference to the popular line said by Vijay Sethupathi in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.” 

Apart from Ilaiyaraaja, the technical team of the film also has Krishnasekar TS cranking the camera and CS Premkumar handling the edit. The makers of Are You Okay Baby are yet to release the trailer of the film.
