Tamil film Chiro goes on floors

The film marks the debut directorial venture of Wiwek Rajaram

Earlier, we reported that Million Studios is next producing a film titled Chiro. On Sunday, the makers announced that the film had officially gone on floors with a small ritual ceremony. 

The film marks the debut directorial venture of Wiwek Rajaram, who has previously helmed a short film titled, The Red Letter. Chiro is all set to introduce debutante Prarthana. Akshay Radhakrishnan of Pathinettam Padi fame is playing the male lead. Chiro will also star Rohini, Lisha Chinnu and Nobel in prominent roles. 

MS Manzoor is backing the film under the Million Studios banner. In an official statement, the producer said, “We are happy to announce the shooting of our ambitious project Chiro, which has started with a ritual ceremony. We are planning to complete the entire shoot in a single stretch schedule. We at Million Studios have always aspired to make content-driven movies with a top-notch technical aspect. Chiro will offer a never-seen-before cinematic experience for the audiences as we are roping in the finest CG and VFX/Animation artists.”  

With Kishan CV handling cinematography, Gopi Krishna is in charge of editing. More details about the film's plot and genre are yet to be announced.
