Japan Trailer: Karthi plays a wacky heister

The makers of Karthi's 25th film, Japan, released the film's trailer on Saturday. Helmed by Raju Murugan, the film also stars Anu Emmanuel in the lead. 

The trailer starts by showing Karthi as Japan, who has been looting places ever since he was 10. When he loots a Minister's property, he is under the radar of Police officers and other villains. How he escapes the situation forms the rest of Japan

Backed by Dream Warrior Pictures, Japan marks the second collaboration between director Raju Murugan and Dream Warrior Pictures after Joker.  Apart from Karthi, Japan also stars KS Ravikumar, Sunil, and cinematographer-filmmaker Vijay Milton in pivotal roles.

While the music of Japan is by GV Prakash Kumar, the cinematography and editing are by Ravi Varman, and Philomin Raj, respectively. Japan is all set to hit theatres for Diwali 2023.
