Earlier, we reported that Hansika is starring in a film helmed by Koogle Kuttappan director duo Sabari-Guru Saravanan, titled Guardian. On Sunday, the makers of Guardian announced that the film's teaser will drop on Monday. 

Going by the title of the film and the first look poster, the film is expected to be a story of a guardian ghost saving a girl from all the dangers surrounding her. The film has music by Sam CS and cinematography by KA Shaktivel. 

Apart from directing the project, Guru Saravanan has written it. Director Vijay Chandar is producing Guardian under his banner. It may be noted that Hansika played the heroine in Vijay Chandar's debut Vaalu, co-starring Simbu. 

Meanwhile, Hansika was last seen in the Disney+ Hotstar series My3, as well as the film Partner alongside Aadhi Pinisetty. She currently has a number of films in her pipeline including, Rowdy Baby, 105 Minutes, My name is Shruti, Gandhari and Man. She is also filming for another web series titled Nasha.
