Putting an end to the long delay, the critically acclaimed Tamil film Koozhangal (Pebbles) is all set to stream on Sony LIV on October 27. 

Written and directed by PS Vinothraj, Koozhangal (Pebbles) has made great strides in international film festivals, beginning with the World Premiere in the Tiger Competition category at the 50th International Film Festival of Rotterdam and went on to win the most coveted Tiger Award with high praises from the jury members and critics. The film was chosen as India’s Official Entry to the 94th Academy Awards 2022 and was also nominated in Film Independent Spirit Awards 2022 under the Best International Feature Film category. 

Koozhangal (Pebbles) is a poignant tale of a father and son’s tumultuous journey to find love and redemption in the unforgiving barren lands of a rural district. When an alcoholic father drags his innocent son out of school on a quest to bring back his estranged wife, they face a chaotic village and scorching sun, forcing them to confront their inner spirits. But as they walk the path of self-discovery, will they find the courage to heal their broken family and overcome the odds?

Koozhangal features Chellapandi and Karuththadaiyaan and is produced by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara under the banner of Rowdy Pictures.
